Welcome to one of the best beaches in El Salvador! El Canegue Hostal is just footsteps from the sands of El Zonte - a beautiful beach for relaxing, swimming, and especially surfing. El Zonte has a super fun right pointbreak, a reefbreak going left and right, as well as a good beachbreak to learn to surf at! There is so much to do here in El Zonte when not surfing- hang out in a hammock, walk around the cliffs at low tide and relax in the tide pools, treat yourself to a massage, do some yoga, grab a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants, have a cold beer at the bar....
      Only 45 minutes from San Salvador and the international airport, it is a easy, safe, and incredible place to come vacation. There are a few small markets right in town, as well as a tortilla lady, and a fruit truck that passes by twice a week. La Libertad is only 15 minutes away and boasts everything you could need from a city- big grocery store, enormous open air market with everything form fruit to sandals to superglue, pharmacies, surfshops, and more.
      Waves are always plentiful here in El Salvador- and if you ever want to venture to some of the other pointbreaks (there are 6 different points within 15 minutes) it is only a 50 cent bus ride away!
